The beauty of America in the Morning Glory pool


One more miracle of nature that we admire worthy, Morning Glory Pool, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, USA.
Swimming 'a thousand faces "because of the color appearance of colorful, blue, green, yellow, orange, copper brown.
This miraculous phenomenon makes Morning Glory Pool is world famous as a tourist destination.
Each year about 3 million more visitors come here to witness the miracle of this pool.
That said, this pool has been there and called "morning glory pool 'since 1880.

history

The pond was named by Mrs. EN McGowan, wife of Assistant Park Superintendent, Charles McGowan in 1883.
He called it "Convolutus", the Latin name for morning glory flower that resembles a spring.
Morning Glory Pool name has become common usage in the park.
